S.O. top box without numbers

Post by EDK60 »

Hi everybody Im the new guy, My question is I have a SO top box near as I can tell from the catalogs is or looks like a KR-361? But it has no markings on it anywhere, pulled the drawers looked inside nothing. one of my 3 older brothers thought that maybe it was a Waterloo box ? All I am sure of is it has a SO badge on the front and all of us have seen this box our whole lives. I am 62yrs old My brothers are 68,70,73.Dads shop opened 1945 so this box is old. Any help you can give with this will be greatly appreciated.I will attempt to post pics.OK I give up on the pics. It looks like the KR-361

Well we know one thing for sure it's not a Waterloo Box, it would not have lasted that long! In any case post some photos, along with the dimensions and weight if possible.

I tried to post a picture so I could tell you how to do it. It didn’t work. I’ve posted photos before and remember it was a real hassle. I’ve never seen a site as difficult as this site to post a photograph and even if you get instructions they are difficult to follow. Additionally, if I remember right, if you ever do figure it out, you can only post three pictures but they don’t tell you that until you try to post the forth.

It looks like a KR-61 Superchest to me. The KR-361 in the combination top and bottom.
