K-5 box

Post by str8axle55 »

This being my first post, I`d like to thank Frank for the site. As a 2nd gen mechanic I`ve always had a love for Snap On Tools, for the value and quality. I recently purchased this K-5 box and would like some input as to it`s value and rarity. The box has origional paint, decal, and hardware. It also has a top tray which I think was optional. The box is in very nice shape for its age, with no major dents or damage. I have never seen another this old, mostly just 60`s and up. thanks

Would date to about 38-40 give or take. I have one with the bottom box. Yours is in good shape, but there is not alot of demand for this type of box. Value is hard to place would say 150-350

Thanks for the quick response. Kind of what I was figuring, guess it`s off to evil bay.

If you aren't going to offer it here, after getting a free appraisal , could you at least link us to the ebay listing?

thanks
