I have a Snap-on Tool Box. KR 53A 4760 1958 3 draw Mechanics Tool Chest as seen in the catalog in 1958.
However, the color is Gray enamel and not Red as in the 1958 catalog. It was my Dads.
He worked for General Motors after the war in the 1950s and told me they were special made for General Motors
and GM ordered them gray. It is a Navy Gray color and it has not been repainted. I was wondering if anyone has
information on the gray tool boxes.

That's unique. I have an electric blue box made for Boing, but it has an "S" model number. I know of a KR53 that's white, made for NASA, I'll look at the number next chance I get. Very cool!
