Snap On tune up stand

Post by Dipstik1 »

I have a Snap On tune up group consisting of an MT 460 cylinder shorting/balance/tachometer; Mt 425F Vacuum/fuel pressure gauge; and MT 406 Volt/Ohm meter, all on a KRA 486 roll stand. The gauges are found on one of the last pages of the 1980 catalog, and the stand on one of the last pages of the 1983 catalog. All are in decent shape and still work fine. I was wondering if there would be any value in these items from the past. Being retired, I have no need for these and would like to sell. Curious if there would be anyone interested in this.

to PI;
got your message, could not figure out how to reply on PM. Tried "compose", but said I was not authorized to use that yet. So I'll just partially respond here:
I have no clue what the tune up assembly would be worth, or how much to ask for it, which is why I posted my original message, in the hope someone here might know the value. Shipping could be a problem, but the assembly will break down into much smaller units for easier cheaper shipping, except for the pedestal of the stand. I will look at it when I get the chance to see if the stand tube can separate from the leg assembly for more compact shipping. The rest of the info re: my exact location and such I will provide when I figure out how to reply to your PM. I am new to this site and dumber than a rock regarding "how too" on this site. For general ref, my location is Western PA.
