Identify 1/4" Drive Socket

Identify 1/4" Drive Socket

I found this socket at a flea market and am curious as to what it is for/called? Stamping is Snap On TMC-37-E and I believe it MAY be a carb tool, but I cannot find it in any of the Snap-On catalogs. Here are a few photos:

It is a 9/32 dr carburetor socket that has been modified. date code 1944.

What do you mean by modified? Do you know what carburetor it works on? Any and all info is greatly appreciated! Thanks! Ethan

opps it is a 1/4 drive. Stromberg carb socket. the bottom has been turned down. here is a link of what it should look like.
