Hi all, new to this forum and wondered if anyone could help?
I've been a mechanic for 8 years now and had a load of tools at my parents house which were getting in the way, yesterday my mother brought me all the tools in the shed to go through and in amongst the tools was my grandfathers old tools, they were very rusty so thought I'd give them a bit of a birthday, turns out that it's a snap on set from the 40s or 50s, I can't seem to get pictures to upload as they're too big but the ratchet is a snap on midget M70-M with three extension bars 8 sockets and a yellow handled driver with snap on M-4 on it, the box it is all in is marked ASL 1952 FA 17530 with a broad arrow, the box is pretty plain and I'm assuming it was a wartime issue as he fought in Palestine during the war, anyone know anymore about this?
Many thanks, Tom!

Re: Help identifying snap on ratchet set
It would have a very high probability of being a war issue. would be 9/32 drive. See if any of the tools have a G or E stamped on them would make them 45 or 44.

The ratchet has a wierd stamp. Looks more like a backwards 3 than an E and everything else is E
