very nice, and thanks for posting a nice array of boxes that exemplify the position that honest wear wears well.
i had a great day at the swap meet today, which i mentioned in another thread. i stumbled upon and purchased a 1940s (1941-1946) Snap-on K-55W Grey Tool Chest (Kennedy style). although the external paint shows the box as an example that worked long and hard throughout it's life, the inside paint is good and the overall integrity of the piece remains and without rust or evidence of a brutal life.
i'm not going to repaint, but instead will simply maintain the integrity of the piece. i cleaned a lot of crap out of the box and in so doing i realized that it came with some OldSchool goodies onboard (Plomb, Blue-Point). being a one-trick pony, posting pictures on the net is beyond my skill set, but i am excited for the find!
