That box does not look too bad. I would pull that dent and clean up the paint and call it a day. I only refinished mine because it had been rattle bombed. If I can I always try to preserve original finish.

All of that fits together toooooo good to be made from parts and pieces. Even the outlets and drawers in the benchtop were ahead of that time. And if those are the push button release magnets for the doors that is ahead of its time. All the doors seem to match. They made use of every inch of space. Those Snap On emblems look close to the time period. If it was Snap On it would be stamped on it somewhere. Pull one of the drawer slides and look for part numbers. What I do not like is the hinges welded on the doors, they appear to be from a house door with holes still in them? Just the fact that the one side also has drawers facing a different direction is pointing me towards saying this was for aviation. It was definitely purpose built for a specific job. Can anyone look under it and see if the casters were original or added later, that would tell us if it was a roll around or was meant to be a dest type to set next to a wall? I think that air setup was added later.
