Hi Everyone. I just aquired this side cabinet for £30. It was looking pretty bad until i stripped it and cleaned it. Its taken a bad hit to the right side, but all the drawers still work well. Before and after shots.

Thats an awesome side cabinet! I wish mine was all drawers like that. I have 3 at the top and then the rest is just open with 1 shelf in the middle. I see yours has a hole to get the clip off the back of the snap on badge. I've been thinking I'll have to make a hole in mine to get the logo off without wrecking it.

Cheers Dodge. Maybe your badge only has the Stubbs for securing it on the sides. I wouldn't expect not to be able to get to it.
I'm still in the process of cleaning it up, the I will. Get some classic vinyl to finish it off.
How do you age a box like this? The number is kr277d?

A two digit date code should be stamped on the box along with the model number.

There does appear to be a longer code. Ill get it tomorrow. Its definitely more than 2 digits.

Good thought. I've never tried removing the one you can see and justs assumed there was a hidden second one. Here's what mine looks like. Oh and right near that kr277d number should be a serial stamp and a 2 digit date code. Oh and the main reason I want to figure out how to remove the snap on badge is due to space I had to move the side cabinet to the right side and flipping the door over will leave the logo upside down.

Looks nice dodge. Looks like the side cabinet has the same chassis as mine. I need a lock and bars (wink wink. )
I love the roller shutter on the cab. That's smart.
The date code is 000417b3 ?

I don't have extra but I could take some closer photos and measurements of mine. It has a replacement lock but I believe the rest is original. I think that # is your serial # your date code is just a 2 digit number. For instance my other box is a 1976 and just has a 76 stamped into it.

That would be great if you could take some pics. I have the bit that goes through the door, but no barrel or anything else.
They are the only numbers I have on there.

So does B3 not mean anything then?
