I am looking at this box as a starter Snap-on box. Its listed on the Allentown craigslist:

It matches the KR61 in Cat S 1948 P4 except the Snap on emblem is to the left and not centered on the inside lid. Probably much newer. Any comments or ballpark price value? Also, if you are in the area and interested, feel free to go ahead of me on this one.

Looks very similar to my 1976 box. That one does have the lock in a diff spot. The link currently says $140 which is a fair price. I think I paid 175 for mine at an estate sale with the tools that were in it.



Edit-sorry I knew it looked familiar but after reading its my other box that matches it. I think the date code on my top box in this pic is 1970. I paid $350 for the entire setup below so I still think the price is ok.

At $140. sounds fair to me. I have almost the same top box as dodgepu1946. The top box I have is a KRA-59E, I purchased it new in 1982 and paid $367.00 for it. I have my 1982 catalog and price list. I refinished all my boxes last year.
