Snap on tools never offered for Sale? Ignition Simulator

OK Snap-On experts, has anyone heard of tools made by Snap-On that were made exclusively for their reps? I recently picked up a Snap-On model SPP-626 ignition simulator that appears to be one of a kind. It’s in a small box and contains a portable ignition simulator with a HEI coil and the necessary firing circuitry inside with two inductive loops on the outside, one for a coil pick up and one for a #1 plug pickup. It can run of 120V AC or off 12V DC. Apparently, these were carried by Tech/Reps so they could demo the large pieces of test equipment that was on carts so they didn’t have to hook them up to an automobile. It has adjustments for KV, RPM and number of cylinders and three banana plug binding posts that I haven’t figured out yet. I’m looking for any information I can find on this unit. Year of manufacture, manual, schematic, etc. I have other ignition simulators in my collection but this one is very basic but functional. Most likely it wasn’t used for calibration. After some tinkering it appears to be functional but I haven’t hooked it up to any of my ignition scopes yet.
Thanks,
Keith

these were made not only for using in sales demonstrations but also were sold to schools to use in automotive repair classrooms. my guess would be that many more were in Vo-tech and high school classrooms than were used by sales people.
