				your model number is the first part of the serial number AW-50 (A as in air and W as in wrench) by the 1965 catalog it had already been updated to the AW-500 (change one number for new wrench). The 63 catalogs only show electric impacts so yours would have to date to about 1964. I remember having one like that traded in in the early 80's but I must not have kept it at least I have not found it again yet.

				WAG on my part-as that type of reverse mechanism was first used back in the 40-50's on CP, Cleco, I.R. and other mfg'rs tools.  If they were contract tools from any of the aforementioned-you might find something about them on their web sites or any old catalogs.  The front clutch housing looks maybe to have had a rubber protective ring to protect it from damage??  Resembles the oil bath clutch housing for the "Rocking Dog/dog's" type of clutch-which was started by CP in the 40's for Industrial assy line usage??

				The logo, is more like mid 50s.  In the 40s the logo had a / instead of a -  .
