Thanks Bob. I have a drag link from the early 40s. The earliest example I'm looking for - from the early to late 20s - will have a heavy band of knurling around the base and may or may not carry the early date code. I attached a photo. Thanks!

The very early ones have no model number. The one on the left is a 1931, the right is a 5/8 drive

Wish I had some from that era. Oldest things I have is 3/4 drive from 1930/31.
