I have my fathers 1980 vr 200 e valve resurface machine its missing the collet 3/16- 5/16 stem capacity any help thanks.

those machines were made by k.o.lee,check with them

Good luck finding one, I had one of those about 20 years ago and couldn't find a smaller collet to fit it.
I've seen several of those machines for sale over the years and none ever have the 5/16" or smaller collets.
