Hi,
Wondered if anyone could help me? I've recently brought what says is a Snap on tool chest. Can anyone help in telling me if this is the real deal or not?

First guess is no.
Never saw a ribbed top deck, and among the few base cabinets with ridged edges, that is not the configuration.
I also think the cabinet is probably older than the logo, which is fairly new.
Of course, if it were Snap~on, and it dates from the late 50's or newer, the manufacturers stamp on the rear panel would solve the mystery.

I agree - not Snap-on - people would add a Snap-on decal or stick on logo to make others think they had a Snap-on box

there are Proto rolling boxes with the same formed design on top of the piece, and identical handles as well. nevertheless, my vote goes to Craftsman;i believe that the box is an older Craftsman.

i apologize for my apparent fleeting opinions, but i'm now thinking that the rollaway is a Waterloo. the lipped edge on the third drawer was causing me to pause on my earlier thoughts of the rollaway being a Craftsman.
