Snap-On MT-650 Restoration

While it's not a toolbox or ratchet, it does have storage capability...
In 1963, my father purchased a Snap-On MT-650 Master Analyzer. It served him well in the '60's '70's and into the '80's.
When my father retired, my cousin the mechanic got it.
In 2002 I inquired about it wanting something Gas Station related to restore, especially something with a family connection.
I started the resto in 2002 but with family responsibilities (kids, house addition, etc.) the project lapsed for a few years until I took it back up in 2010. I finished in July 2011.
At the end of this post, and in a few subsequent posts, I'll post some before and after pics..

I am starting a restoration on one of these, would appreciate knowing how you restored the "Master Analyzer" nameplates. They look brand new!
