72n ratchet

I have a 1934 3/4 set with a 72n ratchet. Just recently noticed ratchet has 2 date codes, 33 on one side and 34 on the other. Sockets and extension are all just 34. Just curious as to the dual date codes. Is the face plate possibly from another ratchet. It also has an s spring as I recently found when inspecting the gear, as it has a chipped tooth, as well as two steel retainer balls in the anvil. No locks on any of the tools. The extension and the pin wrench have the same set up. The sockets have no provision for the retainer balls to click in, just straight flat square openings. Sockets have dh before the model number. Are these items orginally from the same set? Or just perhaps a mixed batch? Any way to tell? Thanks

Nice set. I would think they are all from the same set. Not odd that a tool from this era has a double date code. That is the earliest 72N I have seen.
