I have come across an odd 1/4 drive midget set with an m3 t handle. Cannot find it in any of the catalogs. Could it be military? I think it is around 1951, although sockets are newer, probably replacements. It is the only 1/4 drive m3 I have run into.

The box looks late 40s. A M3 speeder would be 9/32. If it were 1/4 would be TM3. It could be a odd one though. Or it could have been ground down to a 1/4.
I have not seen a 1/4 Tee.

That is what I thought. I find no evidence of grinding, but it is stamped m3. The date code is a bit rough, but looks like 51.

Sometimes, you just get lucky. Nice find.

It is pretty cool, just curious about its origins. I have seen a lot similar boxes but not with the divider with the tee.
