Hello, I understand collecting to be the main focus of the forum, and I must admit I don't collect Snap-On but I do own a few. I was hoping that someone might have some information in their collection that might help me. I recently purchased a Snap-On L-72T 3/4" ratchet. I occasionally build rearends for cars and light duty trucks, and there is a need at times to tighten certain pinion nuts to almost 400 ft.lbs to get the crush collar to collapse. Would anyone know if the L-72T ratchet was rated for that much torque? Thank you for any information you can offer.

Re: L-72T 3/4" Ratchet question.
They use the heads on their 600 ft lb torque wrenches, so 400 isn't a problem.
