No, not even close. Looks like a Waterloo.

Hello,

It's great that you have a tool chest and want to identify whether it's a Snap-on. Identifying the brand can sometimes be challenging, but there are a few steps you can take to determine if it's a Snap-on tool chest and how to start cleaning it up:

1. Look for Brand Markings:
- Check for any brand markings or logos on the tool chest. Snap-on usually marks their products with their distinctive logo. This may be located on the front, sides, or inside the drawers.

2. Inspect the Quality:
- Snap-on tool chests are known for their high quality and durability. Examine the construction, materials, and overall craftsmanship. Snap-on chests often have a sturdy build with smooth operation in drawer slides.

3. Check for Serial Numbers:
- Look for serial numbers or identification tags. Snap-on products typically have serial numbers that you can use to verify their authenticity.

4. Visit Snap-on's Website:
- Check Snap-on's official website or contact their customer service with any identification information you find. They may be able to help you determine the model and year of your tool chest.

As for cleaning, here are some general steps:

1. Remove Contents:
- Empty the tool chest of all tools and items before cleaning.

2. Dust and Debris:
- Start by removing loose dust and debris using a soft brush or a vacuum with a brush attachment.

3. Mild Cleaning Solution:
- Mix a mild cleaning solution using water and a small amount of dish soap. Use a soft cloth or sponge to wipe down the surfaces.

4. Sticky Residue:
- For sticky residue, you can use a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar or a commercial adhesive remover. Apply to a soft cloth and gently rub the affected areas.

5. Metal Polish:
- Use a metal polish to restore the shine to any metal components. Follow the product instructions for best results.

6. Lubricate Moving Parts:
- If the drawers or other moving parts seem stiff, you can use a silicone-based lubricant to help them move smoothly.

Always test cleaning products in an inconspicuous area first to ensure they won't damage the finish. Additionally, consider taking pictures of any brand markings or serial numbers to assist in the identification process.

I hope this helps, and best of luck with your tool chest!
