What is this tool box?

Could you post a pic of the inside. Does not look like a socket set box, has it been repainted, if so, what color was it

No repaint evident. Looks to be original. Here’s the interior.

This size box was used in the 20's and early 30's would have been black. Have not seen one with a handle. The hole was for a longer speeder, could be factory.

This box did not have a model number. The set would have. The handle, could you post a pic showing how it is attached to the box.

Cool box. I have never seen a red one, or with the handle.
