Whit flex sockets

Post by Snap-on Boy 92 »

Recent purchase 3x 3/8 drive whit WFU99 100 and 101, then the 9/32 is probably not Snap-on but does have a random patent on it. How many to a set in the 3/8? Thanks photos not the best as I’m struggling to upload

I have never seen the whitworth or the British Standard in the Cats.
This is what I have in whitworth, WF38 5/16w, WF516 1/4w, WF14 3/16w, WF101, WF99
There may be as many as seven British Standard sizes, I have four.

My 1/4w one is stamped wf516 same as you then. Never seen them before. Do you have many deep whit 3/8 sockets? That’s the only set I’m short of now in 3/8. That and missing a couple of double square sockets and I need 9/16 and 5/8 in normal 3/8 drive flex
