Hello snapmom,

Where do you find all your great early snap-on?

I can never find items like that in the wilds :)

Most of it is from the internet. Some from swap meets, antique car shows.

Well that (in part) may explain all the fuss over the No.6 spline ratchet adapter.

Now that is what I would would call very cool...The only set I have is what you would call a 1/4 drive but it's a bit larger than today's 1/4 drive sets...

Snapmom,

Now that lightning has set the No.6 ratchet adapter market on fire, is the tapered No. 8 Universal in that kit at all rare?

It is not so much how rare it is, it is if there is a large demand. the universal is fairly common, but would still sell well, but not like the demand is for the rat adapters.
