Blue Point Ball Peen

I’m wondering if anyone knows how to determine an approximate year of manufacture of blue point ball peen hammers based on the stamped markings on the hammer head. Also, I’ve seen some hammers with vertically oriented wording. Does this mean anything? Any help or links to potential information would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks in advance!

Pre 1931, would be Blue Points . post 1937 would be stamped "made in usa".
