STP7 Tool ID

Hello,
New to this forum. I found a tool (STP7) in my great-grandfather's toolbox that looks like a pen but it has a sharp point which I would describe as sharp as a scribe. Does anyone have any idea what this would be? Rare? I tried to add a picture but every picture I take is too large. Much appreciated
