Socket Types
A note on 9/32 dr sockets (non special)
From top to bottom
1920-30 plain, no size,model or Snap on name.
1929-33 Name, size, model number show up. (Note these are 12 pt sockets)
34-43 (6 pt sockets)
40-45 Made in the usa is stamped on the socket.
44-45 The larger sockets 3/8" and above are 12pts.
So, you can look at a socket and just about tell when it was made.
