There are a lot of part numbers, a lot of confusion and hopefully this will help (a little) Shown here are:
- A 1931 ¾ ratchet with no label and no catalog listing (the first)
- The 1932 Catalog Drawing (No. 72Y, H, and N),
- 1937 Catalog Drawing (L-72NA),
- 1945 Catalog Drawing (L-72RH and R)
- A 1945 L-72R date stamped E-

First is the catalog drawing, then an undated No 52, the third image is an L52 (likely 1945) and a No52 side by side. The knurled part is a style started in the 1937 tools
