No 2502 Buick Master Six rear engine bolts
One will not have a problem identifying this wrench. It has a unique 3-bend pattern like nothing else. The shaft is boldly marked “Chrome Vanadium” and “Snap-on Milwaukee”. It was offered from 1927 to 1929.
The question in my mind is who bought these wrenches? They are obstruction wrenches for Buick rear engine “base” bolts on the Master Six. It is used only on the 1927 model. This was a series of beautiful cars – total production (of the cars) – 119,272.
Many of these wrenches survive. My only guess is they are not general use tools. The No 2503s out there were not heavily used and many have survived.

No 2506 Ford Rear Bearing Wrench
The No 2506 shown here is from 1929. The wrench was advertised in the catalogs from 1927 through 1929. It was made of Chrome Vanadium tool steel, but this is not marked in the shaft of the tool like others are. The shaft is marked “Snap-on” and “2506”. The date stamps on this tool are on the shaft – opposite side. Apparently these were used for the rear main bearing bolts on most or all Ford models in the 1927-29 period. This period was the Model T to Model A transition period, but I assume this is a Model T wrench. Today these come up commonly from time to time.
