Hi all, first post here. I mainly into woodworking and woodworking tools, but happened upon what looked like a nice Snap-on ratchet set at a garage sale that had mostly ww'ing tools.
The box says KRA-282 and it appears to have a 1/4" complete midget set (159-tm-b?) in it. I'm not sure the year but the box says 80 after USA, not sure if that's a date stamp for 1980 or not. It appears to be complete.
Any help dating it, and any reference to a value on it? I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do with it yet.

Re: Help identifying ratchet set
Yes, that would be 1980. Look in the catalogs, that set would have come with up to 3 ratchets. You may have some bits missing, also looks like you have some that were not part of the original set.

Re: Help identifying ratchet set
Thanks for the quick reply and the help!
Looking at p042 of the 1980 catalog, it looks like there's only one ratchet is included in the 67 piece set. Looks like I'm missing at least a flexible something or other, but from my picture I count 68 pieces. I'm away for the weekend but will check everything in detail when I get home to see if the set is complete.
Is there somewhere I could find a list of approximate values for this set?
Thanks
Matt
