Snap On wrench set

Post by AeroTech99 »

Hello everybody,

I'm a new member to this forum and I've been searching for a vintage set of wrenches. I have 1 wrench from my grandfather that I absolutely love and I would like to find a set. Any information where I could possibly find a set would be great.

Thanks,
Christopher

What is the date code on the wrench? Is it an OEX series? A pic would help determine the age and also show what type of wrench set you are looking for.

A photo would be nice also. There are not many Snap on sets before about 48, they were Blue Point. The Name and model number will be needed, also, check out the date code sheet on this site to determine the age.

Here are some pics of the wrench I have. It is a OEX-160 and I believe it's from 1948. Thanks for helping in my search! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Those are nice, handy size wrenches. Most likely you are going to have to build a set of those. Check yard sales, pawn shops, auctions, Ebay, Garage Journal has a great classified section where I have seen those style of wrenches.
