I Need Help Identifying This Box

Post by Movo318 »

I have an old Snap-on box, it was passed down by my grandfather to me. I use it as my box at the shop I work at, but I don't know anything about the box. I have plans on restoring it, but I would like I know more about it, or if any of you suggest I leave it as it is. I would also like to know from what year this box may be from, I know my grandfather has had it ever since I can remember.

Sorry about how small the picture is, I took it with my phone. I also have a side locker type box that goes with it. The locker has three shelves.

usually on the back, there is a model number stamped on it, along with a date code. Sometimes the stamp is on the sides or on the front rails. They started stamping these codes in the mid 50s.
