Wow, nice to see it all cleaned up. Yours is nicer than my example. It cleaned up so well.

it is bit of a youngster at only 33 years old, but i bought it new in 1978.
i,ve got some older stuff, but this is "my old s/o box"

brought home the bread and butter with this one for years. 1977 date coded.i bought it in 89 used for 500.00 to replace my vulcan bottom and old mac top i got used for 40.00 which i took home and still have.tool guys tried to get me to buy a new box for 20 years but this is just perfect.rivet broke on the slide lock and i drilled a hole and put a nut and bolt through the top front.don't need no 5000.00 tool box!

I have a few things I've picked up over the years.

I have this KRA-255 1/4 set box I bought new in the mid 70's

I bought it to keep my Par-X 113-U 1/4 drive set in, which I also bought new. In fact I waited to pay off the set before I bought the box.

I picked up this Ferret set box empty. I have considered filling it from time to time but still haven't decided one way or the other as of yet.

Then I have this K-55R. I was alerted to this one by snapmom who I will thank again for the lead on this one.
