Haven't had much time to study. A quick look guess,is, the back section lists new pieces. Has a new tool index as well. Page 131 states" this section consists of all new tools since cat m was issued in Jun 1937". Will study more and add photos.

The cover would probably be the only difference between '38mm & '38I cats.
Minor cover difference between
'37m & '38mm.
Midget deeps renamed extra deep & sm7 added. Blue Point electric drills aren't in '38 cat.
1 or 2 other differences , all in the '38I on the site.

Is your '38mx export cat similar? More geared towards metric or w.b.s.?

The mx, is diff only in the cover, pg 1 does not have 1938' and the mx has no prices. Also what is listed as 38I is not correct, it is not an industrial cat. So it is prob a diff verzion of the mm
