Snap On MD-5

Post by DaytonaJohn »

The MD-5 is a Snap On TEE shaped tool that is used to bend points so that the contacts are parallel and bent properly. Has anybody seen one of these before ? About what years were that tool available ?

A guy was selling Mercury outboard tune up tools for late 1950s and 1960s Mercury Outboard motors. the timing tools included a MD-5 and pictures of it on this Ebay auction :

I wouldn't mind having an MD-5. I restore Mercury outboards for a hobby !
