1944, 1945 finish

Post by JeepFan »

I have noticed on my E and G sockets that they have a light green tarnish to them. Would this be due to the materials used at the time?

Not a tarnish. A corrosion resistant finish. Everything was geared towards fighting W.W. II nickel, chrome etc. was needed elsewhere.
