K-260 Roll Cabinet

Post by Bob »

I picked these boxes up in November 2010. Unfortunely, not at the screaming deal I got on my other boxes but OK.

The tool boxes had been repainted once before and some rust was showing in a few areas. I had to reweld a number of broken spot welds so refinishing was a must at that point. I disassembled the boxes and had them bead blasted at a shop. I should have sanded the boxes and given them one more coat. I may or may not do that in the future.

Is it possible to get an idea of how much it worth?

Thanks

Value would be 700-1500. Would have been more if not repainted. Collectors like orgin. paint.

I would like to thank everyone for there questions. I have the same k-260 box set and was debating on repainting or just cleaning it. After reading responses, sounds like I should clean it, and sell it
