1/4 general service set question
Looking for info on a 1/4 drive sae set in metal box. Looks pretty new has 10 sockets 2 extensions and a flex head ratchet. I will post a picture when I figure out how. I can’t find any info online. Tools set in a plastic tray in the metal box.

You have to download a photo resize app. It is free.

On the bottom of the box you should find a model, for the box, and two digits after U.S.A. would be year. Still used metal boxes into mid '90's or so.

I think it’s newer than the 90’s. On the box bottom it says kra 229 but no numbers after Usa. Thanks

KRA229 was a metal box to hold 3/8 universal sockets.

Kra229 box was still an option for 1/4 dr set in 2006. Catalog 800. Ratchet would've been T 936, sealed. The tools should have date codes. 114atmp set, 10 sockets, 2 extensions, universal & ratchet.

Re: 1/4 general service set question
I have seen a few of those online. The odd thing is my set has never been used but has 10 sockets 2 extensions but instead of a short ratchet and universal I have a longer flex head ratchet and no universal. I would have thought it was a switch but it fits in the factory tray perfectly and it’s never been used so I don’t think it’s been swapped.
