how to value vintage boxes
i have a KR533a top on a KR558b bottom in very good condition and am interested in it's value, any help? they are listed as KR2091 when shown together in catalog

A lot depends on condition, but about $300 to $500 a box is a reasonable range of value

FYI, this combination was available when I started as a Snap-on dealer in 1981. At that time, it retailed for $722. It was discontinued In 1984 when it retailed for $1,117. Hope this helps your valuation process. BTW, these are US dollars.
